Rockville Train Show Comes to Six Flags, New England

AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) – The Rockville Train Show opened Saturday at Six Flags New England and attracted train enthusiasts from across the region.

In partnership with the Amherst Railway Society, a 30-by-30-foot model train exhibit will be presented at the Rockville Theater. The exhibit features more than 10 different modules with various scenes and landscapes to represent New England.

Russell Berry, a member of the Amherst Railroad Society, told 22News the reason behind organizing this exhibit at Six Flags: “It’s about getting young people interested in model railroads and this is one way to do that.”

If you missed the excitement of the exhibit, it will be open weekends and weekdays until the end of July.
