Denzil Kenneth Dye, Windham, Ohio Obituary

WINDHAM, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – On May 9, 2024, Denzil Kenneth Dye of Garrettsville, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and loved ones.

He was born May 22, 1965 in Ravenna, Ohio, the son of Denzil and Ella (née Myers) Dye.

Kenny attended Windham High School and worked for many years in the automotive industry as a trained and reliable mechanic.

He is survived by his mother, Ella Gooseman of Garrettsville; devoted sister, Tina (William) Blas of Warren, sister, Dana (Paul) Mosier of Windham, sister, Monica Welton of Nelson; brothers, Timothy (Tammy) McCabe of Garrettsville and Gary (Sylvia) of Warren; her children, Ryan (Taylor) Bennett of Newton Falls, Ohio, Tory Dye of Parkersburg, WV, Zach (Elizabeth) Dye of Mineral Wells, WV, Megan Howell of Twinsburg and Louie Howell of Windham; her grandchildren, Sophia, Rae, Callah, Calem, Brantley, Ady and Emmalyn; nieces and nephews, Dylan (Alicia) Mosier, Chad Mosier, Dustin (Carlie) Dye, Devon Dye, Brooklyn and Leland Blas; many great nieces and nephews and so many close friends and loved ones who have fond (and fun) memories of Kenny that will last a lifetime.

He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Denzil Dye and Caroline; Dear sister, Nancy Dye Hannah; and his brother, Mike McCabe.

Kenny will be remembered for his love of cars (specifically all things Chevy and Ford), his pride in his children and grandchildren, being a Steelers fan, watching their cooking shows, country music (only the good and classic) , be stubborn and fast. with a clever one-liner or to bust out your skills, quick knots, a good worn-out baseball cap and a lifetime of driving vehicles, to work on them with a natural talent for body work, or simply to trade them in for the next one. The best thing.

Kenny did things the way he wanted and many of his friends will remember him for all his sayings that were original to Kenny. All is forgiven in the end and he knew it.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.
