West Bend Police to Hold Abandoned/Recovered Bike Sale Saturday | Washington County News

WEST BEND – The West Bend Police Department announced Monday that they will hold their abandoned and recovered bicycle sale from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the department, 350 Vine St.

According to the release, WBPD has about 30 bikes for sale, fewer than in previous years, and each bike costs $20. The $20 sale price also includes a City of West Bend bicycle license, which is required for sale and valid for the life of the bicycle.

The bikes will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and will be sold as-is with no warranty, according to the release.

“The buyer must pick up the bicycle from the Police Department immediately after purchase,” the statement said. “All sales are final and have no return policy.”

Those interested in purchasing a bicycle this year should enter the apartment located on the north side of City Hall near the garage doors, according to the release. Parking is available in the City Hall parking lot, 1115 S. Main St., and in the city parking lot at Vine Street and Eder Lane.
