Car fire delays traffic on I-240 | News

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – A car that caught fire in the eastbound lane of Interstate 240 brought traffic to a standstill this afternoon.

The stop occurred near the Mount Moriah Road exit, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

Officials had traffic consolidated into two lanes, causing drivers to move slowly around 2:30 p.m.
